Patrimony

The Patrimony collection is the absolute epitome of the saying that there is beauty in simplicity. Customers looking for a meticulously made classic dress watch with purist design may find “the one” among models from this collection.

The Patrimony collection, first presented in 2004 draws inspiration from the original Vacheron Constantin classic timepieces from the 1950s. This is when the brand came up with a simple round model with an ultra-thin movement. There was nothing about this watch that would disturb the eye or be too ostentatious: no dial and case decorations, no complications. More recent Patrimony editions boldly present their subtle complications, including perpetual calendar and retrograde day and date indicator.

Something more…

Vacheron Constantin doesn’t usually turn to celebrities to promote its watches, yet some of its models are linked to interesting personalities: the Patrimony collection is promoted by well-known designer Ora Ïto who builds his designs on a minimalist approach.

Collection highlight

The classic women’s Patrimony watch, with a diamond-set bezel and a 36.5 mm case in white gold, is the embodiment of elegant timelessness. The watch’s mechanical movement can be admired through the revealing, transparent caseback made of sapphire glass. The watch features a date indicator at the six o’clock position and comes with a stylish alligator leather strap. The men’s Retrograde Day-Date model has a retrograde hand-type day of the week and date indicator. Its 42.5 mm case in white gold has a transparent sapphire glass caseback through which the watch’s intricate self-winding movement with 40 h power reserve can be observed.
