Overseas

The very popular Overseas line, much loved by today’s modern nomads, offers watches for daily wear with a hint of sporty elegance. An Overseas watch looks laid-back yet exudes luxury when worn on the wrist. Men’s models are available in 40, 41, 41.5, 42.5 and even 43 mm cases, while some of the women’s models enjoy a diamond-set bezel. An interesting design worth noting is the bi-colour version which is a stunning combination of stainless steel and gold.

For the first time in the brand’s history, the Overseas collection, redesigned in 2016, presents timepieces equipped with an easily exchangeable bracelet/strap system. The wearer can choose between a more elegant, alligator leather strap or a caoutchouc bracelet, which gives the watch a more leisurely look and feel.

Something more…

The 1970s marked the emergence of an interesting phenomenon: stainless steel watches in high horology, and Vacheron Constantin was no exception. Its famous reference 222, launched in 1977 in honour of the brand’s 222nd anniversary, was a predecessor of the present-day Overseas collection. The reference 222 was a ground-breaking model: the first stainless steel timepiece Vacheron Constantin had ever manufactured.

Collection highlight

The men’s version of the Overseas Chronograph is one of Vacheron Constantin’s emblematic timepieces. Its sporty, 42.5 mm case is made of stainless steel and comes with a co-ordinated bracelet (interchangeable for a caoutchouc bracelet or a Mississippiensis alligator strap). The iconic, in-house Vacheron Constantin chronograph calibre 5200 can be admired through the sapphire glass caseback.
