CAROLLINUM was founded in 1996 with the aim to become a leader in the sale of luxury goods. CAROLLINUM s.r.o. is a Czech distributor of luxury goods, comprising mainly watches, jewellery, stationery, leather articles, women’s and men’s wear, accessories and others. It operates a network of shops in Prague (Montblanc boutique, Alfred Dunhill boutique and the Carollinum Watchmaker’s Shop and Jewellery in Pařížská Street, Carollinum Airshop at Ruzyně Airport and the Galliano boutique in U Prašné Brány Street).
CAROLLINUM s.r.o. is an exclusive importer and distributor of the Montblanc and Dunhill brands in the Czech Republic. In addition to the aforesaid brands, CAROLLINUM is the only authorised dealer in the Czech Republic of the Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin and Panerai brands and an authorised dealer of the Rolex, Cartier, Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, Piaget, Chopard, IWC, Breitling, Baume & Mercier, Omega and Gucci brands.
| 1996 | - Incorporation of CAROLLINUM s.r.o.; it becomes an exclusive importer and distributor of the Montblanc brand on the basis of franchising.

| 1997 | - The Montblanc boutique is opened in the Municipal Building (Obecní dům) in Prague.

| 1998 | - A unique concept of a luxury multi-brand shop opens in the Grandhotel Pupp in Karlovy Vary with an assortment of the Montblanc, Alfred Dunhill, Cartier and Seeger brands.
- An Alfred Dunhill franchising boutique opens in Pařížská Street in Prague – the only boutique of this traditional London brand in Central Europe.

| 1999 | - Together with the Cartier brand, the company organises an exhibition titled “Cartier and the Cinema” on the occasion of the Karlovy Vary film festival with a presentation of antique jewellery and Cartier jewellery watches and an exhibition of posters with portraits of film stars displaying Cartier jewellery.
- Significant increase in turnover (43% in comparison with 1998).

| 2001 | - More intensive marketing activities and preparation of a new project with the aim to expand the portfolio of activities – a luxury watchmaker’s shop and jewellery.

| 2002 | - The Carollinum Watchmaker’s Shop and Jewellery opens in Pařížská Street in Prague – a new centre of luxury jewellery and watches from the Baume&Mercier, Breitling, Cartier, Chopard, Dunhill, Gucci, IWC, Montblanc, Piaget, Omega and Van Cleef & Arpels brands.

| 2003 | - Rolex becomes a part of the brand portfolio and this confirms the company’s dominant position.
- Carollinum is on the market of luxury watches (Rolex is the best-selling market leader world-wide).
- Very significant increase in turnover (52% in comparison with 2002).

- Restructuring the product range of the Focus Carollinum shop to women’s and men’s wear and jewellery (the Just Cavalli, GF Ferré, Versace Jeans Couture and CNC brands).

| 2005 | - Brand portfolio expanded by Patek Philippe.
- Preparation of the project to open a shop in the new terminal of Prague Ruzyně Airport.
- New Carollinum Service Shop opens.

- The project of a new SIMPLE Concept Store is prepared – the opening is planned for spring 2009.

| 2009 | - A two-storey store offering luxury fashion by cult French brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Chloe, Givenchy or Dior Homme, opened under the name SIMPLE at Pařížská Street No. 20 in April 2009.
